Buddha's teachings about life, about behavior and practice

About life:

  • The four noble truths: suffering, practice, cessation, and path. This is the basic foundation of Buddhism, helping people understand the nature of life and aim for liberation.
  • Middle Way: Stay away from the two extremes of asceticism and enjoyment, live mindfully, and be alert in each present moment.
  • Cause and effect: Every action has a corresponding cause and effect. Sow the kernels, reap the fruit.
  • Impermanence: Everything is changing, constantly changing.
  • The mind is the master: Hold on to your own destiny. Thoughts, words and actions that come from the heart will make up each person's life.

Regarding behavior:

  • Compassion: Love and empathize with all sentient beings.
  • Intellect: Look at things clearly, understanding and sober.
  • Joy: Live peacefully, let go of sorrows and anger.
  • Patience: Patiently endure difficulties and challenges.
  • Market Complaints: Do not rush to judge and evaluate others.

About the practice:

  • Keeping the precepts: Limit yourself to moral behaviors, stay away from wrong things.
  • Self-Meditation: Train a pure and peaceful mind.
  • Listen to the Buddhist sutras: Learn Buddhist teachings to better understand life and the path to enlightenment.
  • Good deeds: Helping others with compassion
