Thanh's 2-year MMO journey: From empty-handed to success

Hello MMO community! I am Thanh, 22 years old, a new member. Today, I would like to share my story, the journey from a student who dropped out of school, knew nothing about making money online, to achieving significant achievements in just 2 years.

Achievements in 2 years:

From a difficult beginning...

In 2021, I started with TikTok just for fun. But suddenly, my channel quickly reached 50k followers thanks to "meaningless" but attractive content. However, the channel was also quickly locked due to the violation.

Undeterred, I turned to YouTube. After 1.After 5 months of perseverance, my channel reached 60k subs and started generating income. However, once again, the channel ran into problems due to the algorithm.

... Reaching the breakthrough stage

I decided to invest my time in learning SEO and YouTube seriously. At the same time, I continue to develop other TikTok and YouTube channels, build a community on Zalo, Facebook...

In December 2021, my first YouTube video came out. Although it did not go viral immediately, the views were stable and gradually increased thanks to the application of effective SEO.

Harvest Period

I persist in creating quality, regular content every day. As a result, my YouTube channel has grown rapidly, achieving many achievements in terms of views, subscribers, and income.

Lessons Learned

• The right choice is more important than effort: Choosing the right niche, the right background is the key factor.
• Free traffic begets free traffic: Building a community on multiple platforms helps increase views and engagement.
• Money makes money: Reinvest profits in learning, self-development, and channel expansion.
• Don't let money blind you: Put ethics first, not for profit but lose your self-worth.

Current concerns

Despite achieving many successes, I am also facing difficulties and concerns:

• Loss of creative inspiration: Content becomes repetitive and boring.
• Disorientation: I don't know what I really want, which path is suitable.

From an empty-handed, after 2 years, I own a piece of land, a large displacement motorcycle, and a car - things that I only dared to dream of before. This is the first time I have shared and I hope what I am about to say will help everyone, especially those who want to exploit FREE TRAFFIC like I did.

Achievements after 2 years as an MMO:

• 5 TikTok channels with followers from 15k to 70k
• 4 YouTube channels with 18k to 100k subscribers, plus many other small channels
• 3 Facebook Groups with a total of 217k members
• 2 Telegram Channels with a total of 12k members
• Nearly 20 Zalo Groups with full 1k members
• 1 Website with 50k traffic per month
• 1 Facebook Fanpage with 8k likes (not often used due to being blocked)

Coming from an engineering student, I have no marketing experience and am completely blind about making money online. After quitting school and working as a salesman with a salary of 6-10 million VND per month, she started her journey to make money online during Covid. This is the stage where I have learned and experimented with many different platforms.

Babbling Phase: In 2021, I started with TikTok. Although initially only making videos for fun, her channel suddenly attracted 50k followers. However, because the content wasn't approved, the channel was banned and no longer active. Since then, I decided to learn SEO and YouTube to build a stronger foundation.

Breakthrough stage: I spent a lot of time learning SEO and YouTube, and maintained my job making TikTok and YouTube videos. After 1.5 months, her YouTube channel began to show signs of development, thanks to the application of SEO strategies and attracting traffic from TikTok to Zalo and Facebook groups. I focus on long content and invest a lot of time to develop the channel.

Harvest Period: Her YouTube channel quickly achieved success. By taking advantage of Google AdSense, Affiliate and Booking Ads, I started earning about 30 million VND per month. I have expanded many other channels and communities to create more free traffic. When I reached 50k subs on YouTube, I encountered some difficulties but continued to work hard.

Lessons and challenges: Despite her success, she also encountered a number of incidents, including being criticized and encountering untrustworthy people in the industry. However, I learned many lessons from those failures and continued to adjust my strategy.
